📦 Installation

Choose your platform and follow the steps below to install Axiom.

Option A: Word Desktop (Windows)

1. Download the manifest.xml file
2. Open Microsoft Word
3. Click Home → Add-ins (in the ribbon)
4. Click More Add-ins → My Add-ins tab
5. Click Upload My Add-in (at the bottom)
6. Browse and select the downloaded manifest.xml
7. Click "Upload" - Axiom will appear in your Home ribbon

Option B: Word for Web (Office.com)

1. Download the manifest.xml file
2. Go to office.com and open Word
3. Click Home → Add-ins
4. Click More Add-ins → Upload My Add-in
5. Select the manifest.xml and click Upload

Option C: Word Desktop (Mac)

1. Download the manifest.xml file
2. Open Finder → Go → Go to Folder
3. Enter: ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Word/Data/Documents/wef
4. If the 'wef' folder doesn't exist, create it
5. Copy the manifest.xml file into this folder
6. Restart Microsoft Word

🧠 Phase 1: Review (The Dashboard)

When you open a contract, the Review tab automatically analyzes it.

1. Executive HUD (Sticky Header)

The "Smart Header" stays at the top while you scroll, providing instant context:

• Smart Tags: Instantly highlights 💰 Money, 📅 Dates, and 📊 Percentages in your active selection.
• Secure Badge: Confirms you are authenticated and your data is encrypted.

2. Review Dashboard

The main view provides deep AI analysis:

• Key Metrics: Deal Value, Governing Law, Parties, and Term Length.
• Risk Radar: Prioritized list of risks (Critical, High, Medium) based on your playbooks.
• Fix It: Click the 🔧 Wrench Icon next to a risk to see an AI-suggested redline.

✍️ Phase 2: Draft (The Copilot)

Switch to the Draft tab to write with superpowers.

1. Search (Library)

Search your entire firm's clause library. Drag and drop clauses directly into your document.

2. Ask AI (Generation)

Describe what you need (e.g., "Write a mutual indemnification clause pro-supplier") and Axiom writes it for you.

🔎 Phase 3: Research (The Oracle)

Access legal precedents without leaving Word.

• CourtListener: US Federal Case Law.
• Indian Kanoon: Indian Case Law.
• Copy with Citation: One-click export of case summaries with proper citations.

🔐 Security & Privacy

• Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
• No Training: We strictly do not use your data to train our models.
• Ethics Firewall: AI will refuse to generate illegal, unethical, or harmful content.
